What I wore on Friday...
- Tiger Pullover - Street Shopping in S. Korea
- Oversized Striped Tee - American Apparel
- Jeans - Joe Fresh
- Navy Suede Espadrilles - Club Monaco
- Gold Calculator Watch - Casio (from American Apparel)
An image heavy post today to make up for not posting in like, FOREVER!!! More on that later. This is what I wore to work on Friday. Yes, to work. I love that I can pretty well wear whatever I want to work! I wore the tiger pullover in the morning since its usually a bit chillier then, but by the time I got to work I took it off and was in the tee for the rest of the day. I love this tiger pullover though! Especially since it's got pockets! It's my go-to lazy-nothing-to-wear sweater as of late. And actually...this t-shirt is also my go to lazy-nothing-to-wear tee....hmmm. I guess this was my lazy-nothing-to-wear outfit of the week. These jeans were only $20 on sale at Joe Fresh (Loblaws), and the espadrilles I scored for $15 on sale at Club Monaco a few seasons ago! Woohoo! I am a seasoned bargain hunter--really.
Oh, and I don't usually post makeup (and I don't usually wear makeup, either), but I am wearing Maybelline Great Lash Lots of Lashes in Blackest Black and Essence lipstick in Like a Lady. If you've never heard of or used Essence makeup, DO IT. It's this new SUPER CHEAP line of makeup exclusively at Shoppers Drug Mart (in Canada). The lipsticks are like $1.50 and so smooth and soft, and even smell nice!! =)
Anyway, reasons for not posting lately:
If you come to my blog often and actually read the posts then you'll know that I've recently moved back to the hustle n' bustle city of Toronto for a summer internship at a digital advertising agency (I will not disclose the name). I am the Marketing Communications Intern! (Oooh, how fancy!). I am FINALLY using my degree--yay! The office is quite laid back and everyone just wears whatever they'd like (with decency, though -- of course). Anyway, what with the moving and the working I hadn't had much time to reply to comments or explore blogs and things, and for that I am sorry! I know a lot of people have requested to follow each other or asked me to check out their blogs, and I'll get to it eventually -- I promise!! And in the meantime, thank you for continuing to visit and leave comments. And thank you and welcome to all my new lovely followers as well!
Another reason I hadn't posted an actual post in a while is because my new room/apartment/bachelor/crap cave doesn't have a decent wall to take photos in front of. The lighting in the room is great (I didn't have to tinker with it at all in photoshop!), but the walls...ugh, the disgustingly ruined walls. Whoever the tenant was before me must've had posters up everywhere, because when they took them down they took the paint with it! I edited the horrible bits out using photoshop, but here is what the wall actually looks like behind my head....
Yeah...thank goodness for the clone tool in Photoshop, right?? I hope my next place is a frickin' palace--haha!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone!!
