I grew up in a small-ish city. I've lived through my fair share of ignorant racial slurs, awkward pre-pubescent moments, and that 'ugly phase' that every girl goes through before they "blossom into a beautiful woman", so to speak. I've never been dripping with wealth, nor have I been dirt poor. As the youngest of three sisters, I grew up in out-dated hand-me-downs, which is where I accredit my ingenuity. I've gathered a sensible mental list of morals and done my fair share of good deeds. I graduated University with a Major in "Media" and a Minor in "Visual Arts Studio", and now I work as a Marketing something-or-other. I started The Little Dandy when I was 24, broke, and living at home with my parents (sadness ensued). And through this blog I've discovered my deeply buried love of writing my thoughts just as they come. I hope you enjoy my rambles.

‘The Little Dandy’ is the girl who was always a little bit
boyish but wanted to be pretty.
Unlike the textbook Dandy, 'the little dandy' is a girl with impeccable taste.
She comes off as laid back and boyish, yet places a
particular importance upon her physical appearance, refined lingo, and
leisurely hobbies – all pursued with an air of nonchalance. She is the epitome of effortless cool
& beauty. She is all these
things, and completely self-made.
She looks effortlessly chic and put-together. She is easy-going with a dainty demeanor and worries naught whilst enjoying life's luxuries, despite coming from a middle-class background.
